The California Federation of Republican Women held its first virtual conference entitled "Celebrating the Voice of Women." It was a smashing success! CFRW 1st Vice President and Conference Chair Janet Price did a wonderful job of organizing and arranging for Republican speakers, politicians, and workshop instructors from all over California and the United States. CFRW Communications Director, Mary Baker, took on the task of technically putting on the full day conference. The California Federation of Republican Women came together, virtually, to create a magical day for the 500 + attendees.

PROPOSITION 14 – California Stem Cell Research Institute Bond Initiative. The California Stem Cell Research Institute Bond Initiative is on the ballot in California as an initiated state statute on November 3, 2020.
"One hundred years after securing the right to vote for women, Republican women are making history again, stepping up in record numbers to run for Congress," NFRW President Ann Schockett observed. "The NFRW is proud to see so many of our own in the arena."
PROPOSITION 18 – This ballot measure allows 17-year-old citizens to register to vote, and to cast a ballot if they turn 18 prior to the election itself.
California Proposition 23, the Dialysis Clinic Requirements Initiative, is on the ballot in California as an initiated state statute on November 3, 2020. The proposition authorizes State regulation of kidney dialysis clinics and establishes minimum staffing requirements.

CALIFORNIA LOCAL RENT CONTROL INITIATIVE (2020) This measure allowed local governments to have rent control, except on (a) housing that was first occupied after 2/2/95 and (b) housing units with distinct titles such as condos, townhouses or single family.
