A Little About Congressman Garcia >>
Garcia’s decision to run for Congress in 2020 came as no surprise to members of the 25th District. He has seen the world but has returned to his hometown. He has a long track record of service, business growth and wanting to see his community remain the utopia it has been since its inception.
In May of 2020, Mike was successful in the Special Election against his opponent becoming the first Republican in 22 years to flip a Blue seat to Red in California. Mike went on to be re-elected to his first full term in November 2020. In Congress, Mike serves on the Appropriations Committee and the Space, Science, and Technology Committee. He is focused on creating jobs and boosting the economy, cutting taxes, national security, and addressing the national debt.
