This shall serve as notice that a special meeting of the CFRW Board of Directors has been called by President Sue Blair for the sole purpose of endorsing announced candidates for the California Republican Party Chairman, State Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer as stated in the CFRW Bylaws under Special Rule.
This special meeting will be held via ZOOM on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 9:30 AM. Voting instructions will be emailed to the voting members of the Board of Directors and Club Presidents no later than one (1) week prior to the meeting date. Board members and Club Presidents, or their appointed Alternate, must have registered for the February 6, 2021 Board of Directors meeting to be eligible to vote.
Anyone wishing to attend this meeting must click the red button below to register by January 30, 2021. No exceptions will be made for this registration deadline and only those that are registered will be sent a link to the meeting. Eligible voting members must also register in order to be able to attend the meeting and vote.

Below are excerpts from the CFRW Bylaws as they pertain to the calling of a special Board of Directors meeting and endorsement of announced candidates for CRP Chairman, State Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
ARTICLE VIII—BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Section 4. Special meetings of the Board of Directors may be called by the President or at the written request of at least five (5) members of the CFRW Executive Committee. The purpose of the meeting shall be stated in the call which shall be sent to all members at least ten (10) days before the meeting.
SPECIAL RULE
At the Board of Directors meeting prior to the California Republican Party Organizational meeting, local Club Presidents, or their appointed Alternates, shall have the right to vote on the endorsements of the CFRW Board of Directors of only the announced candidates for Chairman, State Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, who seek CFRW Board of Directors endorsement for elective office of the California Republican Party. Instructions for Voting for Endorsement of CRP Candidates
During the CFRW Board of Directors meeting on February 6th, 2021, the candidates for the CRP positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer will address our BOD. In order to receive an endorsement from us, we must send out a ballot and ask for all eligible members of the CFRW BOD and Club Presidents, or their appointed delegate, to cast their vote.
Once all the candidates have spoken, members of the CFRW BOD and Club Presidents, or their appointed delegate, will need to cast their vote. You will receive an email from OpaVote Voting Link. You will need to open the email, click on the button that says Vote and you will be taken to a site where you will cast your vote. There will be a green button at the bottom labeled Vote! Once your choice has been selected, you will be asked to confirm your vote. Once you confirm, it will show that your vote has been received and you are done.
This process does not take very long to complete, so we ask that you complete the process as soon as possible so we can announce the results via email.
