In 1950 a group of women joined together to develop a club where women could share their political ideas, learn more about our government and make a difference in their lives and the lives of their children. On October 10, 1950, Chaffey Community received its charter from the National Federation of Republican Women, which included the cities of: Alta Loma, Montclair, Ontario, Cucamonga, and Upland.
We work to ensure our membership is given the opportunity to critically think about the issues which affect their lives and the lives of their families. We have monthly dinner meetings where we present timely speakers on topics important to our community, country and the world. A key area of focus for us is supporting our troops and our veterans. We have donation drives for goods and supplies for USO Ontario Airport every other month, where many of our members volunteer their time.
We welcome all to join and make a difference. We: Promote a wider knowledge of the government; Increase the effectiveness of women in the causes of good government; Foster loyalty in the Republican Party; Work for the election of the Republican Party’s nominees; Encourage active citizenship; Encourage voter registration; Promote election integrity.
