Our regularly scheduled South Bay member meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. at the Double Tree Hotel in Torrance.

We are planning a fashion show, celebrating “Pearls of Wisdom” with black and white attire, and of course with pearls, for the Club meeting in May.   Also a Proclamation will be presented to the Torrance City Council in recognition of their support of the 60th Annual Armed Forces Day Celebration in May.  June is the celebration of our senior scholarship winners.  Giving four this year, with one special for a student seeking aeronautics.

In June, we also celebrate the Club’s 81st birthday established the seventh day of July 1938.  Caring for America projects supports the military. We support and some members volunteer at the USO at LAX and we are looking forward to a tour of the facility.  Members participated in the Guideposts Military Subscription Program and November our support will go to 4 Paws 4 Patriots, an organization that trains service dogs for disabled vets.

We serve our community by having a booth several times during the year at the Farmers Market in Torrance, reaching out to local conservatives and unregistered voters.   We endorse the NFRW Education and Literacy Committee through the MELP program with book donations to local schools and actively support College Republicans at USC and UCLA with members attending some of their meetings.

Guest speakers are chosen on the merit of current and informational topics as we support the Republican Party principles which align with the Constitution, the law of the land and know they should be upheld and preserved for the next generation.  We invite you to join us and share in what we believe in for America in the future.
