Chartered in 1950, Auburn Area Republican Women works in cooperation with the California Republican Party, the Placer County Republican Central Committee, and other Republican Women’s clubs throughout the region to promote Republican principles and Republican candidates.  In addition to political activities, AARWF sponsors a number of community service projects such as Auburn Area Food Closet, providing personal items for service men and women, creating Easter baskets with residents of Acres of Hope for their minor children, bell ringing for the salvation Army at Christmas, and being a sponsoring organization for Wreaths Across America.

The organization is not gender exclusive.  Many men are associate members and regularly attend monthly meetings.

Meetings are held at the Auburn Elks Lodge, 195 Pine St., on the third Friday of each month, except July and August.  Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m.  The cost to hear the speaker and lunch is $15.  The cost to hear the speaker only is $5.
