Santa Rosa RWF, 75years old in 2020, sits in the middle of Wine Country and very “blue” Sonoma County.  We’re an active club with more than 125  members.  Neither COVID nor the blueness keep us down or quiet. In 2020, our members conducted a spectacular second annual Cookies for Cops. We delivered carloads of goodies to every police, sheriff, and CHP station throughout the county. We held our first-ever Yard Sale.

During COVID, members cleaned out attics and garages, and hence, our successful sale.  We made thousands of phone calls for local and state candidates, walked the precincts, attended Walk-Away, Stop the Shutdown, and MAGA 2020 rallies, and wrote letters to the editor.  In non-COVID time, we tutor reading at Kid Street Charter School and collect toiletries and clothes for Vet Connect.

Our monthly speaker meetings were held via Zoom as was our annual Officer Installation meeting in December. We generally meet for a speaker lunch or dinner on the 4th Monday at the Cattlemen’s in Santa Rosa.
