HOMELESSNESS SB 678 – Unaccompanied Women Experiencing Homelessness Act of 2021-Roughly one in four women experiencing homelessness in the United States live in California. Additionally, unaccompanied women experience longer spells of homelessness.
The Governor released his May revised budget outlining his priorities. The budget must be approved by 7/1/21 or the Legislature will not be paid. This is an incentive and with a Democrat supermajority, the budget will be approved.
TAXES: ACA 9- Property taxation: transfers of principal residences. This measure would repeal the worst provisions of Proposition 19.
