Recall Update: On July 21, CA Secretary of State Shirley Weber (D) released the final list of 46 candidates that qualified to run to replace Gavin Newsom in the Sept. 14 Recall Election.

The recall election on September 14th will present voters with two questions. The first: Whether Newsom should be recalled from the office of governor (would require 50% plus 1 vote to successfully recall him).

CFRW’s Distinguished Speaker Series

California Federation of Republican Women began the “Distinguished Speaker Series” in 2021 to great success!  The programs are held on Zoom, cost $10 per person, are for members only, and last for under 2 hours.  The speakers will talk for about an hour, then take questions.  We have attendees email questions before the event, so the coordinators are prepared with the questions after the speaker has completed his or her talk.  We’re really enjoying this program and encourage our membership to attend online.
