CFRW 2023 Speaker Series Presents Utah State Treasurer Marlo Oaks March 28th

The California Federation of Republican Women welcomes Utah State Treasuerer Marlo Oaks on March 28th at 6:30 PM on Zoom. Mr. Oaks will speak about ESG investing and “Woke” capitalism.
ESG stands for environmental, social, governance. It is a set of political objectives pushed on entities needing money (businesses, states, municipalities). The more compliant an entity is in adopting the agenda the better their ESG score. In theory, this means they should be able to secure investment at a lower cost. If you do not comply, you may be punished with a higher cost of money. This undermines our Constitutional form of government and market-based economic system.
