PROPOSITION 22 - App Based Drivers as Contractors & Labor Policies Initiative. In the 2019 Legislative Session, Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez, a San Diego Democrat, proposed AB-5 which would control contract labor.

California's New Housing Bills...Brace Yourself for the New Normal! Once again, the Democrats are taking advantage of the current imbalance in both houses of the State Legislature.

Prop. 19 is another sideswipe at our property tax protections under Prop. 13. This is the 3rd attempt by the California Association of Realtors and lawmakers to sneak in a law that will increase their business, and bring in an estimated billion dollars in new tax revenue to the state.

"A ballot title is the official, short, summary of a ballot measure that appears on the ballot. The goal of a good ballot title is to be a neutral summary that accurately conveys to voters the gist of what the proposed new law says or would do.

Proposition 17 is a constitutional amendment that would allow people on parole for felony convictions to vote in California. Currently, the California Constitution disqualifies people with felonies from voting until their imprisonment and parole are completed (Constitutional amendment, Proposition 10 passed in 1974).

PROPOSITION 14 – California Stem Cell Research Institute Bond Initiative. The California Stem Cell Research Institute Bond Initiative is on the ballot in California as an initiated state statute on November 3, 2020.

PROPOSITION 18 – This ballot measure allows 17-year-old citizens to register to vote, and to cast a ballot if they turn 18 prior to the election itself.
