Our meetings are held at Blackhawk Country Club in Danville, CA and guests are more than welcome. We have members from Walnut Creek to Livermore and beyond. We have many younger women as members along with a large contingent of working women (those that work outside the home). We are known for our Enthusiasm, Enthusiasm and MORE Enthusiasm. We hold our meetings the 2nd week of each month; the specific day depends on one of our great speakers. We do not hold meetings in July and August, but that does not mean we don’t get together. Chartered in September of 1961, Escondido RWF meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Escondido Country Club, 1800 Country Club Lane. We are a Diamond Achievement Award club and active in our community by participating in local street faires, festivals and various non-profit organizations.

ERWF received the 2005 NFRW Caring for America Award for our nationwide program known as Operation Apron. Our goals include educating and promoting the principles of the Republican Party, registering voters, circulating petitions, writing letters, increasing membership and providing interesting and educational speakers at our monthly meetings.

We award scholarships, publish a monthly newsletter, staff campaign headquarters, send teenage Republicans (TARS) to the Advocacy Workshop in Sacramento and hold one fundraiser a year. We encourage our members to attend local, state and federal conventions.

LACRWF holds its board meetings on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Our general meetings are the 3rd Friday of most months, however there are several months that a fundraiser replaces the general meeting. Due to our successful fundraisers, we are able to donate about $8,000 a year to our military troops, various political watchdog organizations (which we take a ballot vote on at a general meeting), Young Americas, Boy Scouts Legal Defense Fund, Guide Dogs of America, disaster victims (Hurricane Katrina), and local community organizations. Some of the local organizations are Arrowhead Arts Assoc., Boys and Girls Clubs, California Minutemen, DOVES (domestic violence prevention), high school scholarships, Meals on Wheels, Mountain Fifes and Drums, Mountain Skies Astronomical, Rebuilding Mountain Hearts and Lives, and school sports porgrams. We also send several students to Advocacy in Sacramento, and donate to students who request support for progarms like People to People or attending the Presidential Inaugaration. We give books to the local libraries and other local organizations, and to the hospital for each newborn. We register voters, send letters and sign petitions, and have an active headquarters and precinct work during elections. Our main fundraisers are a Bridge Luncheon in June and a Holiday Fantasy in December. Our membership is around 130, with about 46 associate men. WE WELCOME NEW MEMBERS. We are pleased to announce that we already have two wonderful projects planned for 2009. The first is a fundraiser in which we will organize a dinner and a showing of the documentary film, Warriors in Their Own Words. The producer, Rex Pratt will speak on his experiences making this movie. With the money that we raise, MBRWF will provide two $1,000 college book awards which will be available to high school seniors or college freshmen. During these hard economic times, we want to help young people by contributing toward the cost of their university text books.

Our first meeting for 2007 will be held at our regular meeting place, the Conference Room at So. Our February meeting is special, as it is an afternoon Membership Tea, and it will be held on Feb. 24, 1-3 p.m. at the Monday Club, located at 2385 Montgomery St. in Oroville. In lieu of a regular meeting, on April 29th we will be having our major fundraiser, which is a Home Tour consisting of 4 interesting and beautiful homes in our community and a luncheon tea following the tour. We also are hoping to add another fundraiser this year, which will consist of a Boat Tour of houseboats moored on Lake Oroville, and you will be advised of the specifics as they are developed.

Advocacy Day is always exciting for the students we take to Sacramento each year.

Oxnard RWF was established in 1954, so we are entering our 55th year of service. We are an organization dedicated to electing Republican candidates on the local, state and national levels. Founded in 1961 when transistor radios were the latest in high tech, the SVRWF makes its home in the heart of California's Silicon Valley. Featuring monthly speakers from many sources in politics and education, including many from the prestigious Hoover Institution at nearby Stanford University, this grassroots organization meets monthly at the Blue Pheasant Restaurant overlooking the Blackberry Farm Golf Course in Cupertino on the first Thursday of every month except July and August. Simi Valley Republican Women includes many members from the neighboring city of Moorpark. We meet on the third Friday of each month, at 12:00 noon. Because many of our members work, we have our program during lunch. The present meeting place is Posada Royale Hotel on Madera Road. The main focus of our club is Education. We sponsor teens to the Advocacy Workshop in Sacramento, and we give a scholarship of $1000 to a high school senior each year.

We present books to local schools and the public library, stressing our American heritage. We also give American flags on an "as needed" basis to local schools. We appreciate and support those in our Armed Forces, and make monthly donations to send packages to those far from home. We finance our education projects, as well as our support for the military, by holding a Garden Tour each spring. This year it will be on April 19th. The tour includes 5-6 lovely gardens in our area.

The Whittier Republican Women Federated was chartered in 1955. We meet on the first Friday of each month at the Friendly Hills Country Club in Whittier. Each meeting includes outstanding speakers to both educate and motivate us politically. Visitors and guests are always welcome. Come join us and meet other women who are interesting, friendly and politically focused.

The Woodland Hills Republican Women Federated meets the first Thursday of the month (except July and August) at 10:30 a.m., at the Calabasas Country Club in Calabasas, California.

The WHRWF has a dynamic membership which is active in precinct work, educating our membership with interesting and motivational speakers. Candidates are welcomed and we are happy to provide them with a chance to explain their platforms to our members. Our club stresses the importance of voting....not just in the General elections, but in Municpal and local elections. WHRWF is known as the "Friendly Club," because we cherish those who attend our meetings and welcome everyone...once you visit us, you know you must join our organization. Many of our members have been manning telephones, walking precincts and registering Republicans for years...and we continue that tradition gladly.

We meet the third Wednesday of the month (dark June, July and August). We have two evening meetings, one in March and the other in October. Our luncheon meetings are at Oakhurst Country Club in Clayton. Our evening meetings are at Zio Fraedo's in Pleasant Hill. We have a "Spring Fling" fundraiser at Oakhurst. And put on by our Treasurer, we have a PowePoint show "Turbulent Times," a financial presentation. We ardently welcome new members and offer encouragement to members to bring in their friends.

Our club meets the third Monday of each month except July, August and December. We alternate morning (9:30 a.m.) and dinner (5:30 p.m.) meetings, starting with a morning meeting in January, 2009. We meet at the Yucca Valley Church of the Nazarene. Guests are always welcome and encouraged.
